Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a closely aligned area.
  • Demonstrated experience in computer engineering teaching and research.
  • The ability to think broadly and develop research and programmatic activities.
  • The understanding of how to build productive relationships with faculty, students, administrative leaders, and external partners across various disciplines and organizational units.

Responsibilities

  • Developing an externally funded research program in computer engineering systems, computer architecture, or networking.
  • Developing and teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in these areas to prepare students for careers in industry, research, and academia.
  • Mentoring undergraduate and graduate students and advancing collaborative research, capstone projects, and industry partnerships.
