Job summary

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or terminal degree in biology or closely related field by start date.
• Record of peer-reviewed research relating to plant physiology.
• Experience teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels and mentoring students.

Responsibilities

• Advance research in organismal-level plant physiology and publish in peer-reviewed journals.
• Teach plant biology courses and mentor undergraduate and graduate students.
• Submit external grant proposals to agencies such as NSF or USDA.
• Coordinate teaching with department curriculum goals.
• Direct graduate student theses and serve on committees.
• Engage in service to the department and university.
