Job summary

Southeastern Louisiana University’s School of Nursing invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor of Nursing to begin Spring 2027. The position will teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses and contribute to student success in classroom and clinical settings.

Candidates should demonstrate ongoing professional development and engage in scholarly activities such as research, publishing, and presenting; service to the university and community is expected.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Nursing conferred by hire date.
• Unencumbered RN license in Louisiana.
• Two years of RN clinical experience.
• Commitment to diversity.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses as needed.
• Engage in scholarly activities such as research, publishing, and presenting.
• Participate in service to department and community.
