Job summary

Qualifications

  • PhD in Nuclear Engineering, Health Physics, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
  • Preferred: PhD in Nuclear Engineering with research in nuclear lifecycle radiation safety.
  • Active Certified Health Physicist is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain an externally funded research program in radiation protection.
  • Teach nuclear engineering courses and contribute to program development.
  • Represent K-State through professional service in national and international roles.
