New York University invites applications for a joint, tenure-track assistant professor position to study the neural basis of cognition. The appointment begins September 1, 2027, pending budgetary and administrative approval.

We seek applicants with an outstanding record of research in human neuroscience. Examples include attention, perception, decision making, memory, or executive function; programs using computational approaches and neuroimaging (e.g., fMRI) are preferred.

Qualificações

• PhD, MD, or equivalent degree with postdoctoral experience.
• Strong record of research in human neuroscience.
• Ability to establish independent research program and teach undergraduate and graduate students.

Responsabilidades

• Establish an independent research program in brain and behavior.
• Contribute to teaching undergraduate and graduate courses.
• Collaborate across departments and mentor students.
