Job summary

University of Hawai'i at Manoa invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor (F-3) in Molecular and Cellular Biology and/or Immunology. The appointee will teach undergraduate courses, mentor students, and establish an extramurally funded research program on a 9-month, tenure-track basis.

We seek individuals with a strong research record and dedication to teaching in Hawai'i, with collaboration across SoLS, JABSOM, and UH Cancer Center.

Qualifications

• Earned Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree by time of hire.
• University-level or equivalent teaching or mentoring experience.
• Postdoctoral research experience with strong publications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and teach undergraduate courses in Molecular and Cellular Biology and/or Immunology.
• Mentor graduate students and participate in graduate programs.
• Develop externally funded research programs and contribute to BAMs collaboration.
