Applicants use innovative cellular, molecular, or genetic approaches to study memory mechanisms in the mammalian brain.

Qualifications

• Candidates must hold a Ph.D., M.D., or M.D./Ph.D. in neuroscience, engineering, computer science, biology, physics, or a related discipline.
• A record of research excellence and a compelling vision for future work are essential.
• Clinical faculty must be eligible for a Texas medical license.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting and mentoring new faculty to advance memory longevity research.
• Collaborating across departments and centers to define cellular and circuit mechanisms of memory.
