The successful candidate will teach and develop programs, including supporting a BA with Secondary Teacher Certification and a BS in Mathematics, while advancing research with undergraduates.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Mathematics or related field by start date.
• Evidence or demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching.
• Experience teaching college-level Mathematics courses.
• Demonstrated potential for excellence in scholarship with undergraduate students.
• Demonstrated effective written, verbal, and team-building communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach the equivalent of four courses per semester.
• Achieve excellence in teaching, research, and service.
• Establish a research program involving undergraduate students.
• Participate in curriculum development, student recruiting and advising, program assessment, and committee work.
• Other duties as assigned by administration.
