Job summary

The George Washington University’s Department of Economics invites applications for one full-time, tenure-track faculty position beginning as early as Fall 2027. We seek applicants specializing in macroeconomics who demonstrate strong potential for scholarly achievement and excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching.

The successful candidate will maintain an active research program and teach core and specialized courses for undergraduate and graduate students, subject to Department needs.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in economics, or completion of all PhD degree requirements by the time of appointment.
• Primary focus on macroeconomics.
• Strong potential for scholarly achievement and excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching.
