Georgia Tech invites applications for the inaugural Speedwell Foundation Landscape Architecture Professorship in the School of Architecture. This tenure-track appointment may be at Assistant or Associate Professor rank and requires residency in Atlanta, GA, with start anticipated Fall 2027.

The successful candidate will advance ecological resilience and community well-being through landscape architecture, collaborate with the Chair and Dean on program direction, and engage in graduate student

Competenze

• Requires Architecture degree and the terminal degree of Master of Landscape Architecture; a doctoral degree is not required but preferred.

Mansioni

• Contribute to required design studio teaching across the School of Architecture’s degree programs (BS Arch, MSUD, and M Arch), including core architecture design studios.
• Contribute to required history/theory classes, as needed
• Offer elective seminars or workshops on landscape architecture topics such as urban parks, urban ecology, green infrastructure & hydrological systems, climate change adaptation
• Securing and conducting funded research and externally sponsored activities
