University of South Carolina invites applications for a dynamic tenure-track Assistant Professor in Integrated Information Technology. The 9-month, full-time position will be based in Columbia, SC within the Molinaroli College of Engineering and Computing, teaching and building a robust IT research portfolio.

Successful candidates will develop externally funded programs, teach core IT courses, mentor students, and engage in service.

Qualifications

• Earned doctorate in information technology, information systems, computer science, industrial or systems engineering, or a closely related field by start date.
• Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching and research with high scholarly impact.

Responsibilities

• Develop an externally funded, nationally visible research program.
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in IT curriculum.
• Advise undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students; contribute to service.
