Job summary

The University of Minnesota, Twin Cities invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track assistant professor position in International Relations & Methodology in the Department of Political Science for fall 2027. Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in political science or related field is required.
  • Advanced ABDs may be considered for appointment at the rank of tenure-track instructor (job code: 9404), with the stipulation that the Ph.D. is conferred in the first year of appointment.
  • College/university-level teaching experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain an active research program and contribute to department, college, University, and profession priorities.
  • Teach and advise undergraduate and graduate students.
  • Contribute service appropriate for the rank of appointment to the department, college, University, and profession.
  • Offer classes in IPE at undergraduate and graduate levels.
