Fairfield University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the Finance Department, starting Fall 2027. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Finance by Sept 1, 2027 and an active research program with potential for high-quality publications.

The role includes teaching in-person and online at Fairfield and/or Bridgeport campuses and a strong commitment to engaged teaching. Service to department, school, university, and profession is expected.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Finance by Sept 1, 2027.
• Active research program with potential for high-quality publications.
• Commitment to engaged teaching and excellence in using technology in the classroom.
• Ability to teach at Fairfield and/or Bridgeport campuses in person and online.

Responsabilités

• Teach finance courses at undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Advise and mentor students within the Finance Department.
• Contribute to service to the department, school, university and profession.
