Job summary

Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth in Hanover, NH invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor in the Molecular and Systems Biology Department. Candidates should address complex problems in molecular, cellular, or developmental biology, with emphasis on neuroscience, regeneration, or mechanisms of human disease using genetics, genomics, epigenetics, or metabolomics. Ph.D.

and/or M.D. degrees with postdoctoral experience required.

Qualifications

  • Applicants should address complex problems in molecular/cellular/developmental biology with emphasis on neuroscience, regeneration, or mechanisms of human disease using genetics, genomics, epigenetics or metabolomics.

Responsibilities

  • Establish an independent, externally funded research program.
  • Teach and mentor students and trainees in undergraduate, graduate, and medical education.
  • Publish in peer-reviewed journals and contribute to the academic community.
  • Collaborate across departments to advance molecular and systems biology research.

Tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor opening in the Molecular and Systems Biology Department at Dartmouth’s Geisel School of Medicine. Applicants should address complex problems in molecular, cellular, or developmental biology, with an emphasis on neuroscience, regeneration, or mechanisms of human disease using genetics, genomics, epigenetics or metabolomics. Demonstrated record of technology development or use of innovative approaches encouraged. Generous start-up package and access to state-of-the- art research facilities provided.
