The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses, mentor students, and maintain an active scholarly agenda in a Christ-centered liberal arts environment. Primary responsibilities include teaching in biomechanics/kinesiology, strength and conditioning, and related labs; advising and mentoring students; and contributing to

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology, Human Performance, or a closely related field; ABD considered if completed in time frame.
• Commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching, advising, and mentoring.
• Ability to teach undergraduate courses within the Exercise Science curriculum (e.g., exercise physiology, kinesiology/biomechanics, strength and conditioning, and related labs).
• Ability to integrate Christian faith with academic discipline and support the university’s mission.

Responsabilités

• Teach undergraduate courses in biomechanics/kinesiology, strength and conditioning, and related labs.
• Develop and deliver evidence-based instruction for student learning.
• Advise and mentor Exercise Science students on academics, internships, and career opportunities.
• Mentor undergraduates in research and field experiences.
• Contribute to curriculum development, program learning outcomes, and assessment.
• Maintain scholarly activity aligned with a teaching-focused university.
• Participate in departmental and university service and community partnerships.
• Integrate faith within teaching, mentoring, scholarship, and service.
