University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Evolutionary Biology. The appointee will build an integrative program addressing adaptation using experimental, genomic, and computational approaches, including epigenetic regulation.

The candidate will collaborate across the School of Life Sciences, mentor graduate students, and teach undergraduate and graduate courses while seeking extramural funding. Fall 2027 start.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in a biological science related degree from an accredited college or university.
• Credentials must be obtained prior to the start date.
• Proven record of research accomplishment.

Responsibilities

• Establish a rigorous research program with extramural funding.
• Publish peer-reviewed scholarship and mentor graduate students.
• Teach at undergraduate and graduate levels in evolutionary biology and related fields.
