Qualifications

• Terminal degree in English or closely related field required before start date.
• Ability to teach a variety of generalist literature and writing courses.
• Experience teaching undergraduate and graduate English courses is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Teach four courses per semester (core curriculum and upper-level).
• Support, mentor, and advise students.
• Contribute to ongoing strategic planning for the department within the School of Christian Studies, Humanities and the Arts.
• Maintain a minimum of ten in-person office hours per week each semester.
• Serve on departmental and university committees.
