Qualifications

• Earned doctorate in educational leadership, educational policy, or related education and/or social science disciplines.
• Evidence of high-quality scholarship (e.g., recent publications in peer-reviewed journals, working papers, recent presentations at national or international conferences).
• Commitment to and experience working with students of various backgrounds.
• Ability to teach educational leadership and policy courses and/or research methods courses.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Engaging in a well-defined scholarship agenda with clear connections to K-12 educational policy and/or transitions to higher education.
• Teaching graduate courses in online EdD program related to educational policy and/or research methods.
• Advising graduate students in the online EdD program and other programs as requested.
• Serving on student graduate committees, including chairing EdD student dissertations.
• Providing service to the university, the department, the college, and the profession.
• Developing and submitting grant proposals to funding agencies.
