• MFA or PhD in Theatre, Performance, Performance Studies, Directing, or a related field. ABDs welcomed but degree must be completed by appointment.
• Engaged artistic practice in directing evidenced by directing credits.
• Commitment to mentoring culturally diverse students.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate directing coursework as a core requirement and graduate directing courses.
• Direct department productions annually as part of teaching load.
• Contribute to curriculum development across BA, BFA, and MFA programs; engage in scholarship and service.
