Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Evidence of scholarly research and publications in machine learning, data science, cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
• Excellence in teaching and advising undergraduate and graduate students and mentoring graduate research.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach up to 24 credit-unit equivalents per year; develop syllabi, instructional materials, and innovative course content; advise students; supervise graduate theses and research projects; engage in professional development and assessment activities.
• Conduct research in computer science or related fields, publish in peer-reviewed venues, seek external funding, and present work at conferences.
• Participate in departmental, college, university committees and initiatives; assume leadership roles as appropriate.
