California State University, Northridge invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Cognitive Psychology or Cognitive Sciences within the Department of Psychology. The successful candidate will teach courses across the field of cognitive psychology and related sciences, with research interests open for submission.

Qualifications

PhD by Aug 2027 in Psychology, Cognitive Science, or closely related field.
Evidence of excellence in teaching undergraduate and graduate courses using inclusive practices.
Evidence of a productive and sustained research program in cognitive psychology/science/neuroscience.
Demonstrated potential for inclusive mentoring of diverse students.

Responsibilities

Teach courses across cognitive psychology and cognitive sciences.
Maintain weekly office hours and participate in department activities.
Contribute to assessment of student learning and service to department/college/university.
Support inclusive student learning and equitable outcomes through mentorship.
