East Texas A&M University is launching a new PsyD in Clinical/School Psychology and invites applications for a Tenure Track Assistant Professor in Clinical Psychology to help shape the program from the ground up. The role begins Fall 2027, with responsibilities across teaching, research, and curriculum development within the Department of Psychology and Special Education.

The successful candidate will contribute to the MS in Clinical Psychology, help develop the forthcoming PsyD, mentor graduate

Formación

Must hold a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology (Ph.D. or PsyD) prior to Fall 2027.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; commitment to high quality teaching.
Evidence-based practice and ability to mentor graduate students.

Responsabilidades

Develop and sustain a productive research program leading to publications and conference presentations.
Mentor and engage graduate and undergraduate students in research.
Provide teaching excellence to graduate students in Clinical Psychology; teach courses (e.g., Psychopathology, Diagnosis, Personality, Assessment).
Prepare syllabi, update course materials, and develop curriculum for new PsyD program.
Collaborate with faculty to implement departmental programs and provide service to the university and community.
Maintain knowledge of evidence-based assessment and intervention and online teaching practices.
