City College of San Francisco’s Chemistry Department invites applications for a full‑time, tenure‑track Chemistry Instructor to teach in‑person lower‑division and preparatory chemistry courses at Ocean Campus and potentially other centers.

Responsibilities include delivering lectures and labs in general, organic, instrumental analysis, assessing student progress, and participating in program assessment and college-wide activities.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse CCSF student body
• Earned Master’s Degree in Chemistry or equivalent as described
• Alternative pathways per CCSF equivalency process
• Education equivalency process documentation required

Responsabilités

• Teach in-person lower-division chemistry lecture and lab sections (general, organic, instrumental analysis)
• Teach in-person preparatory chemistry courses
• Teach daytime/evening sections at Ocean Campus and possibly other centers
• Provide instruction per department outlines and CCSF catalog
• Assess student progress and outcomes
• Participate in department and college-wide activities and committees
• Engage in culturally responsive, anti-racist teaching practices
