Job summary

University of Washington invites applications for up to two tenure-eligible Assistant Professor positions in Accounting with an anticipated start date of September 16, 2027. Positions are full-time, nine-month appointments renewable for Assistant Professors, with a base salary range of $27,000–$31,000 per month, depending on experience, and potential moving/summer research funds.

Open to all accounting subfields; candidates are expected to conduct high-quality research and teach at undergraduate

Qualifications

• Candidates must have, or be nearing completion of, a Ph.D. or foreign equivalent in accounting or related field.
• A qualified candidate may be considered for temporary appointment as an Acting Assistant Professor, pending PhD with conversion to appointment as an Assistant Professor after degree conferral if the terminal degree has not been conferred by the position start date.
