Job summary

Seton Hall University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor in Computer Science beginning August 2027.

We seek candidates whose research aligns with cloud/edge computing, cyber-physical systems, or AI systems; teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels, including Cybersecurity and Data Science, will be expected.

Ideal candidates will supervise student research and maintain a CS laboratory while supporting the university's Catholic mission.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related field completed by start date.
• Commitment to excellence in teaching, scholarly research, and mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Teach CS courses at all undergraduate levels and possibly graduate courses in Cybersecurity and Data Science.
• Supervise student research and maintain a computer engineering laboratory.
• Support Seton Hall University's Catholic mission.
