Qualifications

• Ph.D. of Mechanical Engineering or closely related field required or anticipated at time of appointment.
• Experience in additive and advanced manufacturing is highly desirable.
• Ability to develop externally funded research programs and contribute to teaching.

Responsibilities

• Develop externally funded research program in additive and advanced manufacturing and establish an internationally recognized scholarly presence.
• Contribute to teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in mechanical engineering, such as manufacturing processes, materials science, and heat transfer, and develop new curricula.
• Provide meaningful service to department, college, university, and external professional communities.
