Southern Illinois University Carbondale invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the School of Accountancy. The successful candidate will develop an active research program in auditing, analytics, or AIS and teach courses in their specialty.

Starting date anticipated August 10, 2027, with reviews beginning November 1, 2026. The position is represented by SIU Carbondale Faculty Association/IEA-NEA.

Formación

• PhD (or terminal degree) in accounting or related field by Aug 10, 2027.
• Dissertation near completion considered for employment.
• Research agenda aimed at high-quality publications in leading journals.
• PhD from AACSB-accredited institution preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Establish an active research program and publish in premier journals.
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in area of specialization; load described in posting.
• Engage in service and governance activities within School, College, and University.
• Support SIU's mission of student success and retention through responsibilities in this role.
