The Department of Biological Engineering (BE) and the Institute for Data, Systems, and Society (IDSS) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Massachusetts seek applicants for tenure-track faculty positions, effective July 1, 2027, or on a mutually agreeable date thereafter. Appointment will be at the assistant professor level.

Qualifications

• Formal graduate training in statistics, data science, ML or AI.
• Strong publication record in relevant fields.
• Ability to teach BE and related subjects at undergraduate and graduate levels.

Responsabilités

• Teach courses in Biological Engineering and related subjects.
• Advise students and supervise research.
• Develop graduate and undergraduate course materials.
