Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Agricultural Communication or closely related field; ABD considered with proof of degree when awarded.
• Evidence of excellence in teaching and communication skills; ability to work with diverse groups.
• Ability to secure external funding and publish research; commitment to student-centered learning and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and contribute to graduate instruction in agricultural communication, including strategic comm, journalism, marketing, PR, science communication.
• Supervise senior projects, mentor graduate students, advise student organizations and competitive teams; support internships and field-based learning.
• Collaborate with Brock Center for Agricultural Communication and interdisciplinary programs; engage industry partners and stakeholders.
