Qualifications

• Earned or imminently awarded Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching, effective communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop an externally funded research program involving undergraduates and graduates.
• Commitment to hands-on, student-centered learning and multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Strong written and oral English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and master’s level courses in Aerospace Engineering.
• Support and expand curriculum development, including existing flight dynamics courses.
• Build a vibrant, innovative research program that integrates undergraduate and graduate students.
• Engage in high-quality scholarship and external peer-reviewed research.
• Provide departmental, university, and community service activities.
• Mentor students to become prepared for the modern aerospace industry.
