Job summary

Invited seeks an Assistant Tennis Professional to support tennis programming for members and guests at our Minnesota clubs. You will assist with clinics, private lessons, and events, providing exceptional service and acting as a tennis ambassador to enhance the club’s reputation.

You will help promote tennis memberships to prospective members and collaborate with the Head Tennis Professional and staff to deliver engaging experiences for adults, juniors, and seniors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience playing, instructing, or coaching tennis at a competitive or professional level.
• Certification from USPTA or PTR.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and promoting engaging tennis clinics, private lessons, and programs for adults, juniors, and seniors, aimed at enhancing skill development and boosting participation.
• Provide instruction for private and group tennis lessons, including skill-building drills, to promote player development and enjoyment of the sport.
• Help organize and promote leagues, round robins, drop-in sessions, ladders, tournaments, and other relevant events to enhance community engagement and encourage participation.
• Maintain the courts to a high standard and ensure a safe environment for all facility users.
• Promote tennis memberships to prospective members and assist in orienting new members to facilities and programs.
