• Respond to member questions, comments & concerns efficiently.

Education

PTR/PTA Certification Preferred

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop safe, professional, and comprehensive lessons and programs to ensure clients develop along a pathway that will encourage continued development and a positive learning environment
• Monitor, demonstrate, and instruct clients on proper technique and strategies to improve their overall game
• Ensure clients understand tennis rules, scoring procedures, safety rules and tennis etiquette
• Ensure all tennis facilities and equipment are clean, organized and in great working condition
• Quickly and efficiently respond to member questions, comments & concerns

Building Business

• In addition to servicing the high demand of current clients, Tennis Professionals will work to:
• Involve members in program, tournaments, and special events, fully utilizing available marketing support system & tools
• Actively participate in the system wide sales efforts with membership advisors and member activities, ensuring tennis is an integral component of the LSF brand, integrating new members into the LSF tennis program
• Identify inactive tennis players and re-engage them in appropriate programs, selling tennis programs, lessons, court times, and equipment.
• Actively develop a positive image for LSF tennis by providing excellent on court and off court service
• Work closely with other LSF Departments to raise awareness about Tennis and look for creative ways to partner with them to improve member experience.
• Continuously increase your knowledge of all LSF Programs, products, and services

Other Requirements

• Take full and accurate rosters for all your classes
• Fill our and turn in weekly confirmation sheets and attend scheduled monthly department meetings
• Be willing to help at other club events involving tennis

Qualifications
