Job summary

White Columns Country Club in Milton, GA seeks a tennis instructor to teach private and group lessons, following the Director of Tennis curriculum and supervising leagues for the club’s members and guests.

Ideal candidates hold USPTA or USPTR certification, have at least two years of teaching experience, CPR certification, and demonstrate strong on-court coaching techniques with a professional attitude.

Qualifications

• Must hold USPTA or USPTR certification.
• Minimum of two years teaching experience.
• Demonstrate on-court teaching techniques.
• CPR certification required.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
• Maintain a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Teach private and/or group tennis lessons for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Follow the curriculum as determined by the Director of Tennis.
• Supervise leagues, teams and other tennis programs as assigned by the Head Professional.
• Maintain accurate class attendance records.
• Monitor and relate student's progress to student on a regular basis.
• Promote club programs and encourage registration/participation.
• Attend all departmental staff meetings.
• Attend quarterly all-staff meetings.
• Motivate students through use of new teaching techniques in private or group lessons.
• Report for lessons on time and in professional attire.
• Abide by all club company rules and procedures as outlined in the Employee Manual.
• Accept and complete all assignments deemed appropriate by the Director of Tennis or General Manager.
