Job summary

Legends is seeking an Assistant Tennis and Pickleball Coordinator (Part time) for McFetridge Sports Center in Chicago. The role supports the Tennis Coordinator in delivering high-quality tennis and pickleball programming for youth and adults, while helping develop staff, schedule programming, and ensure a safe, engaging environment.

The ideal candidate has coaching experience in tennis/pickleball, PTR or USPTA Level 1 certification, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple

Qualifications

• Experience instructing tennis and pickleball to varied age groups.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to develop age- and skill-appropriate lesson plans.
• Ability to coordinate staff scheduling and program assignments.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and lead tennis and pickleball classes for youth and adults.
• Assist in maintaining quality and consistency of instruction across staff.
• Provide staff training and professional development opportunities.
• Coordinate staff scheduling and program assignments with Tennis Coordinator.
• Assist with Junior Team Tennis (JTT) program operations.
• Create a safe, welcoming environment for all participants.
• Provide instructional coverage when staff are unavailable.
• Handle administrative tasks: emails, documents, inventory, customer service.
