Serve Up an Epic Summer: Tennis & Pickleball Instructors Wanted!
Are you a pro at the baseline or a wizard at the kitchen? We’re looking for high-energy athletes to lead our Tennis and Pickleball programs at Camp Arcadia.
This isn't your average club pro gig. At Arcadia, you’ll be teaching campers (ages 7-17) the fundamentals of the game while keeping the vibes high and the rallies long. Whether you’re coaching a beginner through their first serve or organizing a high-stakes Pickleball tournament for our older campers, you’ll be the face of the courts. If you love the sound of a perfect volley and the sun on your back, this is the perfect way to spend your summer.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead daily Tennis and Pickleball lessons for campers of all skill levels.
- Organize and "MC" camp tournaments and inter-camp matches.
- Manage equipment (rackets, paddles, and ball machines) and ensure court safety.
- Act as a role model and mentor, fostering good sportsmanship and a love for the game.
What You’ll Need:
- Court Experience: Proficiency in Tennis (strokes, strategy, and rules) and an enthusiasm for Pickleball.
- Instructional Talent: Experience coaching or playing at a high school/collegiate level is a plus.
- The Energy: Ability to keep 4 activity periods a day engaging and fun for various age groups and skill abilities.
- Team Spirit: Ready to manage the courts, maintain equipment, and work closely with the Head of Tennis.
- The Commitment: Must be available for the full summer season (mid-June through mid-August) at our campus in Otisfield, Maine.
