Responsibilities

• Start lessons and classes on time
• Deliver basic tennis activities (dry tennis, use of tennis balls)
• Implement basic strategies according to age and ability
• Record check-in and check-out
• Must be 16 years or older

General Requirements

• Must be able to read and write with good command of the English language
• Good oral and written communication
• Physical capabilities – lift up to 50 pounds, squat, bend and move as necessary for the job
• Must be able to perform basic mathematics
• Basic proficiency of Microsoft Excel and Word
• Must possess valid Illinois Driver’s License
• Professional phone skills and ability to work well with the public
• Neat and professional appearance
• Responsible for following policies and procedures outlined in Springfield Park District employee manual
