Job summary
The Washington Golf & Country Club (WGCC) seeks a Tennis Maintenance Staff Member to manage daily maintenance operations at the tennis facility, ensuring a clean, safe, and well-stocked environment for members and guests.
Responsibilities include opening the venue, preparing courts for play, cleaning indoor and outdoor areas, restocking supplies, and assisting with locker rooms and pro shop displays. A high school diploma and 1+ year related experience are preferred.
Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED required.
- 1+ year related maintenance experience.
- Ability to operate power tools and cleaning equipment.
- Knowledge of Har-Tru outdoor courts is a plus.
- Reliable, with strong safety and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of field maintenance tasks.
- Ensure venue safety and correct hazards.
- Open facility and operate indoor lights.
- Prepare courts for play and daily cleaning.
- Restock locker rooms and restrooms as needed.
- Provide towels and cups for outdoor play.
- Maintain cleanliness of Pro Shop displays.
- Assist with supply requisitions.
