Job summary

TGA Premier Sports in Mahwah, NJ is seeking passionate Tennis Coaches for Kids to teach children ages 5–14 through our school and community programs. No extensive coaching experience is required; we provide training on the TGA curriculum and emphasize safety, fun, and character development.

Coaches can work part-time with after-school availability, 2:30 PM and later, fulfilling a flexible schedule with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Availability during after-school hours (2:30 PM and later).
• Reliable transportation.
• Excitement for teaching kids and sharing tennis.
• Ability to create a fun, safe environment and connect with kids and parents.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

Job description

TGA is committed to nurturing young athletes by providing engaging sports programs directly in their schools and communities. Our goal is to teach kids the fundamentals of sports while encouraging character development, teamwork, and proper sportsmanship.

We are seeking passionate and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as a Tennis Coach for Kids. This role involves teaching the game of tennis to children ages 5-14, emphasizing not just skill development but also the joy of playing sports. Our coaches are crucial in fostering a love for tennis through fun, interactive lessons that incorporate education and safety.

Coaches can work part-time, with opportunities ranging from 1 day to 7 days a week, offering 2-5 hours of work per day during the school year, and potentially more during the summer months.

No extensive coaching experience is required, as we provide training on the TGA curriculum. However, a love for working with children and a positive attitude are essential!
