Qualifications

  • 7+ years in tender/bidding/sales roles.
  • Experience in Power Quality Solutions or HV Substations.
  • Ability to lead a multi-discipline team.
  • Willingness to travel 10–15%.

Job Description: The Opportunity Join Hitachi Energy's Grid Integration team in a role where strategy, collaboration, and commercial insight come together to support critical power infrastructure projects. As a Tendering Manager, you will transform customer requirements into competitive, high-quality proposals that help customers advance grid reliability, performance, and modernization initiatives. Working closely with sales, engineering, operations, customers, and suppliers, you will coordinate technical and commercial inputs, develop pricing strategies, assess risks, and manage tender activities from opportunity evaluation through submission. This role offers exposure to Power Quality Solutions, Grid Connect Solutions, data center opportunities, and high-voltage infrastructure projects. You will play an important part in delivering customer-focused solutions while strengthening tendering excellence through continuous improvement. Your background
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Electrical is preferable.
  • Fluent in English both written and spoken.
  • 7+ years of experience in tender/bidding/sales position.
  • Experience in Power Quality Solutions / FACTS solutions (STATCOM, SVC, Synchronous Condensers) or HV Substations for Grid Connect Solutions & Data Center (including BESS).
  • Proven ability to work in a process orientated, disciplined, and structured with a high commitment to results.
  • Proactive in establishing effective relationships and engaging with various team members.
  • Oriented to a leadership role since will lead multi discipline team to interface with all internal company areas and external partners.
  • Ability to travel 10-15%.
