Job summary

NewGen Technologies seeks a TEN Lab Manager to join the IT support desk for a U.S. Government customer. You will lead help desk activities, assist with equipment setups, manage user accounts, and support lab technol ogy implementations in a secure, lab-based environment.

The role requires US citizenship, an active clearance or DHS suitability eligibility, and several years of direct IT support experience. Collaboration across multiple locations is essential.

Qualifications

• Requires 3+ years of IT Helpdesk support or similar experience.
• Good problem solving skills and ability to work across locations.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain DHS suitability.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first level Help Desk for the TEN Lab’s systems and accounts.
• Assist new user setup of equipment, accounts and tools.
• Respond to user requests via email, walk-ins, phone calls or other communication means in a timely manner.
• Create and maintain accurate Tickets for Help Desk activities.
• Work with Asset Management to support accurate records and maintain assets.
• Support the implementation of new technologies and equipment in the lab environment.
• Provide support for systems administration tasks such as patching and network maintenance.
• Advise on development of lab SOPs and policies.
• Provide VPN or VDI support to users (Citrix).
• Provide MacOS and iOS support to users.

Education

BS Computer Science / related degree OR HS Diploma with 3+ years of directly relevant experience
