Andy Frain Services, Inc. is seeking unarmed Temporary Event Security Officers for a West Palm Beach music event and 5k run.

You will help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for attendees, speakers, exhibitors and staff, performing access control, post monitoring, and crowd management. The role requires professional appearance, strong customer service, and the ability to stay alert in varying weather and long shifts.

Formación

• Must have High school diploma or equivalent.
• Shall be 18 years of age or older.
• Must maintain physical health consistent with demands of performance.
• Must have ability to speak and write in detailed English.
• Background investigation may be required; offer conditioned on clearance.
• Pass a regulated drug test where required.
• Must have clean driving record for certain duties.

Responsabilidades

• Report for duty on time and in full uniform.
• Ensure the safety and security of property, employees and residents.
• Communicate with local Police Department and other entities pursuing the same objective.
• Be aware of the surrounding area where services are performed.
• Communicate via two-way radio and cellular device.
• Observe and report suspicious or unusual situations to supervisor and law enforcement as needed.
• Perform periodic patrols and log patrols on monitoring devices.

Job Description

Job title: Temporary Event Security Officer (Unarmed)

Manager, Supervisor, and Guard positions available

Job Summary:

Unarmed Security Officers are to be provided for a music event and 5k run in West Palm Beach (November 6th – 8th). As a Security Officer you will ensure a safe, organized, and welcomingenvironment for attendees, high-profile speakers, exhibitors, and venue staff. This role combinesaccess control, active post monitoring, and proactive crowd management. Security officers mustmaintain a professional image with exceptional customer service to support a smoothexperience.

Special Considerations:

Officers must be willing and able to work in challenging weatherconditions to include heat, cold, wind and rain. Officers will be exposed to these weatherelements as they are performing their job duties and standing for extended periods of timewill be required at certain posts.

Responsibilities:

Ensure the safety and security of property, employees and residents.
Security Officer will communicate with the local Police Department and any other entitypursuing the same objective.
Security officers must have knowledge and be aware of the surrounding area wheresecurity officer services are being performed.
Communicate via the use of two-way radio and cell phone.
Observe and report suspicious or unusual situations to immediate supervisor and lawenforcement when necessary and be proactive in identifying and reporting potentialproblems.
Perform periodic patrol at required areas and register patrol on electronicmonitoring devices.

Requirements:

• Must have High school diploma or equivalent
• Shall be 18 years of age or older
• Must maintain physical health consistent with demands of performance
• Must have Class D Security License
• Must be able to speak and write in detailed English
• Must be willing to submit to a background investigation; any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation.
• Pass a regulated drug test (where required).
• Must have clean driving record (for certain job duties)

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to see, hear, speak, and write clearly in order to communicatewith employees and/or other customers.
• Pushing/pulling/carrying lifting may include up to 50 lbs, stair climbing.
• Normal vision or corrected by the use of glasses and/or contacts for normalreading and viewing abilities.
• Ability to twist, turn, bend, stand, climb stairs, and walk as required toperform the duties associated with functioning as a security officer.
