Volunteer State Community College is seeking a Temporary Tutor for the Learning Commons Pool to support students across disciplines. The role focuses on one-on-one guidance, small-group workshops, and helping learners navigate online platforms.

As a pool tutor, you will collaborate with instructors, provide timely feedback, and contribute to student success. This is a part-time, temporary position with flexible hours and a focus on inclusive, accessible tutoring services.

Minimum Qualifications

For applicants with a degree: Degree in the discipline or relatedfield or expertise in subject matter content. For applicantswithout a degree: B or higher in course. Recommendation of two VSCCor other college-level instructors.

Preferred Qualifications

For student tutors, A in course.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Pay Rate

$16.00 per hour
