Qualifications

• PharmD or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited program.
• Active and unrestricted pharmacist license in state of practice.
• Ability to exercise independent professional and clinical judgment in a high-volume pharmacy environment.
• Strong medication-safety orientation, attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt to assigned workflows, prioritize competing demands, and maintain professional standards.
• Maintain licensure and perform essential functions with/without accommodation, including physical/environmental requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review, interpret, and clinically verify medication orders for accuracy and compliance.
• Perform final verification of prepared medications and ensure quality before dispensing.
• Identify and resolve medication safety concerns, including interactions and dosing issues.
• Communicate with prescribers, facilities, caregivers, and internal teams to resolve concerns.
• Provide pharmacist oversight and direction to technicians and student pharmacists.
• Support production workflows and regulatory requirements; ensure operational continuity.
• Complete onboarding, safety training, and job-specific instruction.
