Job summary

JSL Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician (Temporary) to support submarine handling operations at Pearl Harbor, HI. You will assist with loading and offloading non-ordnance items on submarines at JBPHH piers and within PHNSY/IMF CIA.

Responsibilities include transporting equipment from storage, loading inert shapes, and maintaining handling equipment. Candidates must meet clearance requirements and have at least 1 year of industrial/maintenance experience; expect physically

Qualifications

Must be able to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance Level.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
At least one (1) year of industrial and/or maintenance experience.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. at times.
Able to work dockside, onboard ships, in submarines and other vessels, and in warehouse environments.

Responsibilities

Support handling, loading, and offloading of non-ordnance items on submarines at JBPHH piers and PHNSY/IMF CIA.
Transport to/from a storage facility on JBPHH and load/offload inert items (torpedo shapes, ballast cans, VLS components, handling equipment).
On-load/offload and transport to/from storage, or combinations of both.
Transport VLS Platforms and Submarine Weapons Handling Deck Skids to/from JBPHH and NMC; items loaded/offloaded by NMC at WESTLOCK.
Upkeep of equipment including cleaning, grinding, sanding, priming, painting and glue pads on platforms and related gear.
Maintenance, inspection, and testing of equipment, slings, and components per MRC/SOP/Tech Manuals.
