Job summary

Securitas US Business Unit is seeking a Temporary Security Officer to protect a commercial/industrial warehouse. The role runs 32 hours per week, Sunday through Wednesday, 04:00–12:00, starting 10/4/2026 for 2–3 months. You will conduct hourly perimeter walks, assist visitors, and maintain a visible security presence in a kitchen pantry logistics site.

Experience is not required, and training is provided. Candidates should be able to sit/stand for long periods, walk on varied surfaces, and meet

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Prior security experience preferred.
• Must pass drug screen and background check.
• Must meet any applicable state licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard.
• No experience necessary; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at the client site.
• Conduct perimeter/property walks hourly.
• Assist visitors.
• Secure a commercial/industrial warehouse.
• Frequent sitting, standing and walking for long periods; may involve stairs and uneven terrain.
• Lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Position Details:

Temporary position starting 10/4/2026 for 2-3 months (no specific end date). Full-time (32 hours/week). Sunday through Wednesday, 0400-1200. Will be securing a commercial/industrial warehouse for a kitchen pantry. Will conduct perimeter/property walks every hour. Will assist visitors. Will walk and stand for long periods of time. Prior security experience preferred.

Security Officer/Guard

• Must have excellent Customer Service skills
• Security positions require you pass our drug screen and background check
• Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard

Job Requirements of the Security Officer/Security Guard include but are not limited to:

• Security Officers/Security Guards observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
• Additional physical requirements of the security officer/guard may include frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
