Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer/Guard to monitor access at a gate shack, control vehicle entry, and coordinate deliveries on site. This long-term temporary, full-time role requires a valid driver's license and prior security experience.

Bi-lingual English/Spanish is preferred; you may undergo a drug screen and background check. We offer weekly pay, health, dental, vision, and growth opportunities within the company.

Responsibilities

• Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, ensuring safety of property and personnel.
• Access control of vehicles entering the site and coordination with client employees for deliveries.
• Monitors activity during off-hours to prevent unauthorized entry.

Wage: $20.00/ hour

Position Details:

Long-term temporary position (no end date currently). Full-time positions (32-40 hours per week), all shifts available. Must have a full and valid driver's license. Will be stationed at a gate shack. Access control of vehicles entering the site. Will coordinate with client employees for deliveries. Will monitor activity during off-hours to ensure no unauthorized entry occurs. Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Must have at least 2 years of prior security experience.

Security Officer/Guard

Job Requirements of the Security Officer/Security Guard include but are not limited to:

• Security Officers/Security Guards observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
• Additional physical requirements of the security officer/guard may include frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
