Job summary

Securitas USA is seeking a Temporary Security Officer to guard client sites and coordinate with client staff. The role is a long-term temporary, full-time position across shifts, stationed at a gate shack with vehicle access control responsibilities.

A valid driver's license and at least 2 years of security experience are required; bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Weekly pay and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Observe and report activities and incidents at the client site to protect property and personnel.
• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking; may climb stairs and walk on uneven terrain.
• Frequent lifting up to 10 lb and occasional lifting up to 25 lb.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must pass drug screen and background check.
• Must meet state/county licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Coordinate with client employees for deliveries and access.
• Monitor access control of vehicles entering the site.
• Monitor activity during off-hours to deter unauthorized entry.
• Communicate effectively with clients and visitors to maintain security.

Temporary Security Officer

Wage: $20.00/ hour

Position Details: Long-term temporary position (no end date currently). Full-time positions (32-40 hours per week), all shifts available. Must have a full and valid driver's license. Will be stationed at a gate shack. Access control of vehicles entering the site. Will coordinate with client employees for deliveries. Will monitor activity during off-hours to ensure no unauthorized entry occurs. Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Must have at least 2 years of prior security experience.

Job Requirements of the Security Officer/Security Guard include but are not limited to:

• Security Officers/Security Guards observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
• Additional physical requirements of the security officer/guard may include frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
• Security Officer/Guard Must have excellent Customer Service skills.
• Security positions require you pass our drug screen and background check.
• Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard.
