Responsibilities

• Write incident reports and DARs with clarity and accuracy.
• Enforce site rules and Post Orders; communicate with supervision.
• Respond to incidents per Use of Force policies.
• Maintain professional conduct and participate in training.
• Perform additional security or customer service functions as directed.

Pay: $16.50/hour

Job Type: Temporary / Part-Time

Assignment Dates

Duration: Assignment may be extended based on client needs.

Monday–Friday: 3rd shift coverage needed.

Labor Day: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift coverage needed.

Labor Day Pay: 1.5x regular hourly rate for hours worked on Labor Day.

PPE & Uniform: Required PPE will be provided. Employees are responsible for providing their own steel-toe boots and black pants .

We are seeking professional and dependable Unarmed Security Officers to provide security services at an assigned client location. This position focuses on observing and reporting, maintaining a safe and secure environment, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced setting.

Primary Duties

• Monitor activity and identify/report suspicious behavior, security threats, hazards, or emergencies.
• Conduct interior and exterior walking patrols.
• Perform access control, monitoring, customer service, and other site-specific duties.
• Write clear, detailed, and accurate incident reports and Daily Activity Reports (DARs).
• Enforce site rules, policies, procedures, and Post Orders.
• Communicate with site supervision and management as required.
• Respond appropriately to incidents in accordance with company Use of Force policies.
• Maintain a professional appearance, attendance, and conduct.
• Participate in required training and orientation.
• Perform additional security or customer service functions as directed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to obtain an Iowa State Guard Card.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
