Job summary

Acuren is seeking temporary Safety Supervisors for Turnaround/Outage/Project work across the United States. This role supports our U.S. Workforce Deployment Team, coordinating staffing across the country and ensuring high safety standards.

You will lead safety programs, conduct hazard assessments, oversee training, and manage incident investigations, partnering with client safety personnel. Travel and field assignments across multiple sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in field service for regional client industries (e.g., petrochemical, mining).
• Proven OSHA knowledge related to NDT environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; self-starter and team player.

Responsibilities

• Uphold, safeguard, and promote Acuren’s values related to safety, integrity and quality.
• Communicate with all workforce levels to foster a safety-first culture and minimize risk.
• Ensure hazard assessments are conducted on every job and staff understand not to take risks.
• Provide resources for safety equipment, deliver required safety training, and conduct safety audits regularly.
• Lead investigations of all safety incidents and summarize lessons learned for regional sharing.
• Ensure clients receive high-quality services in a timely manner.
• Oversee worker training, procedures use, project supervision and peer reviews.
• Conduct ongoing safety assessments and oversee audits/inspections of facilities, operations, equipment and processes.
• Liaise with client safety personnel, participate in pre-job meetings and post-job reviews.
• Provide safety training across the assigned area and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws (OSHA, EPA, USDOT, etc.).
• In partnership with Corporate Safety Leader, set annual plans/objectives with clear goals and schedules.
• Maintain required safety training, DOT and related records.
• Follow directions from the Site Manager.
