Colorado Parks and Wildlife is seeking a temporary, field-based position to support the invasive species program across Colorado. The role focuses on watercraft inspection and decontamination, outreach, and data collection at multiple locations throughout the state.
Responsibilities include inspecting boats, providing guidance to prevent spread of invasive species, assisting with program management and data entry, and traveling overnight to designated sites.

This position is critical for the protection of natural resources from non-native species that threaten wildlife, drinking water/irrigation and all water related outdoor recreation in the State of Colorado. This position is intended to travel regularly to provide coverage at watercraft inspection locations as needed, including assisting with seasonal opening and closures, sampling and monitoring, outreach and education, and distribution of supplies.
